DIAGNOSIS:LIVING PERSON

The core concept of my project "Diagnosis: Living Person" lies in combining real personal stories of people with mental disorders with their artistic interpretation through original digital collages. Key Components and Core Ideas: Essence and Format: An art-and-research project built upon in-depth narratives (open or anonymous) of individuals experiencing various mental health conditions. Participants share their lived experiences: initial symptoms, seeking help, reactions of loved ones, the impact of war, and effective strategies for stabilization and self-help. Textual testimonies are transformed into visual metaphors (digital collages), bridging the gap between clinical reality and the internal human experience. Core Mission and Philosophy: Destigmatization: To demonstrate to society that behind every diagnosis stands a living person, rather than an abstract medical label or the "other." To present vulnerability as strength, and art as an instrument for therapy, dialogue, and shifts in societal perception. Symbolism of the Visual Language: Absence of faces: Highlights the universal nature of the challenge — mental health conditions can affect anyone (a friend, a neighbor, or a colleague). Fragmented body parts: Visually convey both internal disintegration and a simultaneous state of being filled with the "primordial cosmic dust" from which the entire universe is formed. Target Value: For society:Reducing stigma while fostering tolerance and empathy. For individuals with disorders: Providing a safe space where their voices are heard and reinforcing the sense that they are not alone. For psychiatrists, mental health professionals, and students: Offering a "living" base of clinical narratives and subjective patient experiences that cultivates a human-centered, empathetic approach to psychiatry beyond dry diagnostic criteria.

The Monsters series investigates our deepest existential vulnerabilities: the confrontation with mortality, the visceral dread of sharp edges and self-inflicted rupture, and the psychological tremors of crisis. Death emerges not merely as an end, but as a liminal transition to another plane of consciousness. Through surrealist assemblage and visual psychoanalysis, the works confront internal shadows to articulate a singular imperative: amidst terror, acute trauma, and external collapse, the only true devastation is the loss of one's core self.

Rooted in the lived experience of navigating acute trauma and bipolar disorder during the initial invasion of February 2022, the series explores how the human psyche fragments under existential terror—and subsequently rebuilds through creative agency. Here, collage serves not merely as aesthetic expression, but as an ontology of resilience: deconstructing the chaos of war, pharmacological disruption, and physical pain to assemble an undeniable language of endurance. ABOUT BIPOLAR DISORDER: THE POLARITY OF CONSCIOUSNESS Mania arrives under the guise of clarity and boundless momentum: racing thoughts, elevated focus, an electric acceleration of intent. Yet within days, the nervous system reaches extreme overload. Sleep dissolves. The physical organism begins to burn from within—eyes, head, cognition fracturing under relentless sensory acceleration. The ability to nourish the body disappears; reality sharpens to an unbearable, hyper-vivid pitch where shapes and colors vibrate with overwhelming intensity. About Bipolar Disorder translates the lived phenomenology of neurodivergence and bipolar states into visual form. Rejecting romanticized myths of creative frenzy, the works articulate the raw physical toll, altered perceptual reality, and profound vulnerability of mania. Through visceral collage and high-contrast tension, the series documents the razor-thin boundary between hyper-lucidity and somatic exhaustion, capturing the fundamental drive toward stabilization, restoration, and equilibrium.

By synthesizing robotic textures, glowing halos, neon interfaces, and fractured portraiture, the compositions examine the boundary where human vulnerability meets synthetic augmentation. Through high-contrast neon palettes and digital assemblages, the works reflect on surveillance, virtual detachment, and existential persistence—questioning how consciousness, intimacy, and the authentic self adapt inside an increasingly artificial environment.
